ABOUT h4HH
Holes for Heavens Heroes was founded in 2019 to honor our Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star Families. The premise was to support organizations that give back to the Heroes who keep us Safe and Free. The concept came from a Gold Star Father whose passion is to never let those who Serve Us be forgotten. We Honor our Heroes in name rather than sponsored golf holes or Tee boxes.
Our vision is to remember and serve those who Serve us. Our mission offers our Heroes the opportunity to enjoy weekends of great food, many fun activities and events, and the camaraderie of the incredible people who keep us Safe and Free.

Stephen W. Theofanous
Steve is a Detective (retired) from The New York City Police Department and had worked in various assignments and locations throughout The City during his tenure. Upon retirement, he became active in private investigations, personal security for high profile individuals, families, and their guests. These positions often included extensive surveillance, threat assessments, travel itinerary, coupled with pre-travel clearance for temporary lodging and coordination with local government agencies as well as arranging for complimentary contractors within The U.S. and other countries to assist when needed.
Throughout his lifetime he has always felt that serving others has been a priority and if there is a need, he will always try to contribute to the cause. He is keen to the recent difficulties faced by our military members and first responders and although there are various individuals having to take action to protect and care for our citizens, their assignments can vary tremendously. Except for the dedicated personnel recognizing each other from within, they are often left to accept all of the negative press and meager praise for going above and beyond regularly. Although Steve has been lucky enough to cross paths with many folks who did say simply, thank you or offer a hug for a job well done. In joining the volunteer team at H4HH, he in fact wants our military and all first responders to know that they are heroes to people that don't even recognize it all the time. Without those who stand and raise their hand to support and protect us, our country and way of life would be just an idea and not reality. Heroes do walk amongst us yet sadly, many are taken way too soon; leaving families, friends, co-workers, and our citizenry with voids that can never again be filled. Support them in any way you can. They deserve it, and did what they did for all of us.
